I really like the synergy between skills and auras. It makes the chosen/kotbs more interesting to play so i like the idea of the devs here.

From a creative design point of view this is an interesting patch but i think the current values might be off from balance point of view.

1) Reduce absorb on Shield of the sun/ Bane shield on Chosen/Kotbs to max 400-500 absorb. 800 too much.

2) Wound buff on persaverece, reduce to 20-30 from 50.

Imho Knight only needed a dps buff. SnB stuff not sure about it.

What the fuzz about kotbs wounds buff, that stuff should not stack with wp wounds buff that is quite mandatory and it is up the whole time. Imo such buff is more suitable for chosen cos destro side lack wounds buff.

Ability shouldn't stack with another ( only liniment/potion) so if this is the case, looks like a bug.

hi,

Im happy that devz take care of thing, tho..isnt all this a bit unfair to BO/SM?
devz wants more kotbs/choosen?!
will just mention the free shield on shield of the sun/bane shield as example, BO/SM must spec high into right tree to have that shield actually effective and it interract with their mecanism..

please enlight me..what's the redline dev are going with?

to me it looks more like tidal wave in no particular direction, eg result is the son a complex process :geek:
As you said , us, poor player, lack the overall/all mighty general view.
Yet we are the one, actually playing the game, i've heard the feedback of so many devz on so many project , at some point they are hiding themself behind data/log, yet lacking common sense. data dont explain it all, TTK is pure math. I dont like that reasoning. if TTK was an issue , stacking bursting class would have been tuned down long time ago. Yet it is not!

Ok, I got you , trying to balance things out of a game not an easy thing, explaining it to player base is even another story.

Right now, and that's my feeling, I dont get it!
Yet I can tell few thing that never move over the course of years I'm playing this game, on a few classe only and are CORE of few fotw build (be it destro or order btw)

anyway cheers for the hard workz! Hope futur will make me understand the reasoning behind

if needed nerf aoe , decrease ability scaled to main stat.

Having an out-of-group AoE Heal back is good first step.

But to me core issue when playing Shield WP (and same for DoK with same kit I guess) is being useless during any form of defensive gameplay, such as retreating from a fight, Fort/Keep defense etc, with no target to hit and thus being of no use for the team, apart from very weak willpower-based HoT and group Heal. Sacrifice / Blood of my Blood at least provided for a tool to get good healing without having to hit something.
It is possible and currently needed to respecc to Book/Chalice for Fort/Keep, but each time the WB or Group has to retreat, it gets embarrassing to see life bars go down around the Shield Healer being unable to do anything.

Another thing that bother me is the disappearance of the Lifesteal Healer, as with each patch the classic Heal part gets boosted while the Lifesteal part is forgotten.

Shield wp/dok need Grace of Sigmar/Empowered transfer back to 25% Increased melee healing + Divine Strike/Consume Essence will hit 2 extra targets with or without shield! Should return spirit dmg to the skill imo as well.

the skill that healed your grp quite alot but damaged yourself while casting, that should be returned AND it needs to be usable while moving. Same thing for the Absorb to any ranged dmg, castable on move 10s cast and 300 absorb and the absorb refreshes every 1 sec.

Those skills need to return! And be shield only skills. The grp melee heal should be able to use with dual wield or 2h. Benediction is nice but make it core and that it increases next lifetap heal you use for 35%.

As someone who took a 1-year break from the game, all these changes feel like a nightmare. I have plenty of characters, and now it seems like I’ll need to re-learn them all from scratch. RoR literally feels like a different game to me now.

I’m glad the devs are still supporting it, but I’m also upset when classes get reworked so much that they stop being what they used to be.

I think I’ll give it another try once all the major changes are done.
