New Duos Destro Question

I searched the forums and the posts I found on this topic were 2 to 6 years old so wanted some updated info.

Returning to the game after a few years because a friend is interested in playing, I mained Shaman, love it, still have him but don't want to make another.

My friend is interested in playing Blackguard, Witch Elf, or Chosen. What are some good duos for these careers? I'm sure WE + WE is still obvious but not sure on the others.

Also to add, we will likely do some rvr roaming mostly and sprinkle in a few scenarios and pve stuff just for fun, plus the occasional big WAAAGH warband stuff, but rvr roam is my goal.

All 3 are solid picks, with BG you get cooldown reduction and the buffs from dark protector and a guard. Anytime you can be a tank/heal duo already means you can make a group easily and also get into every WB.

So you're thinking if my friend goes BG or Chosen, I should go with a healing class?

Oh, if you don't wanna go healing and you said you know about double WE. Mara would be a good compliment dps for any of the three also.
