Annulus event
Hello RoR people, we've been playing a lot these past few days trying to obtain the Annulus rings. But many of us are stuck with a lot of unrefined materials and tools unused. I thought the NPCs would stay for five days, but many of us thought the NPCs for refining materials would also remain in the game, but they've disappeared. We just ask for a few more days for those NPCs to be able to use and take advantage of these materials to obtain the items we need, please.

Ya everyone in my guild thought the same, and now we are stuck with a bunch of mats we can not use, we save them to craft and trade at this extra 5 days were npcs were supposed to last.

You expieriance the samy issue players had last year. all thats left is the hope that mats will work for next year event.

Yes, I see this has happened to many of us, and it's a shame to have our inventory full of unused tools/materials. And waiting a year with those items in the chest is a waste of space. I wish we could keep those NPCs needed to finish using the materials/tools. We'd be more than grateful, just for a few more days, please, gms.

-All Ring Vendors will persist five days after the live event ends as they pack their bags. So be sure to keep you resources to trade with your friends until the very end!

The ring vendors are present. The refining vendors have already packed their bags.

The Refining vendors sticking around for the sunset period might be some nice extra quality of life for players. Our event team will discuss this today.

Sidenote, after grinding through the event... BETWEEN FOMO, low drops on pve unless you commit to mind numbing looting, and rvr/PvP being highly dependent on your side doing good...
It's been a very stressful event. Lots of players I've read are considering a small break from burnout.
In the future and, respectfully, as constructive criticism, there's a few points I'd like to propose.
1) a way to get the resources permanently. For example in dungeons. Right now, you do not get anything from doing crypts, bastion stairs, HV. You only get items for a set you have no use for after you acquired it, unlike gunbad which gives gold. The lack of reward for dungeons for high level players means they rarely help lower levels get through them. This would be a way to address that. Maybe by re doing a dungeon you can get some crates/boxes?
2) please up the rate for crates in pve. PvP isn't always viable. You can see in the past 20 Nehekhara land of the dead fights that destro wins the vast majority. Superior cc is a meta thing that can be patched, but also the lack of organized warbands on order. That applies to the average game..with one side losing often in scenarios and such, you just get less resources. Until balance is fixed it'd be good to let ppl have pve be a serious option and not just for shards with minimal crate/box gains unless you spend hours falling asleep killing mobs...
3) if Ulthuan ever gets a city for elves both high and dark maybe annulus vendors can be there permanently... To open the event long-term.
4) sidenote but I wanted to propose quests (normal quests) get bigger rewards on gold, some quests give like 1g or some silver for quests that take 30 minutes or more... Or maybe a small number of war crests... My guild, blasón del condor, loves pve content but you objectively waste time doing it outside dungeons (which again for example bastion stairs literally drops NOTHING for players who already went through it. Be nice to get some drops like gunbad for gold at least). So we often talk about how much content isn't used that could be enjoyed if it had some rewards. Not enough to make it better than PvP but enough you feel you can enjoy the content without essentially shooting yourself in the foot.

Team discussed this morning and agreed this would be nice to add - starting next year the refining vendors will hang out during the event's sunset period along with the other ring merchants. There's a rare chance we might be able to sneak this in this year, but I can't promise that yet. As always, the resources will also carry over from year to year, so any leftovers you have will be usable next year too.
