Wrath WP Mobility VS DoK

Hi, i'd like to point out that while warrior priests who play 2handed wrath like myself mainly, think its rather odd that recently you removed the slow component from Judgement. whilst we have zero sprint/charge capabilities, our one slow(40%) only lasts 3 seconds (6) when debuffed.

Hammer of Sigmar our execute just got turned into a hard hitting but heavy RF spending ability(i'm fine with it, but miss the execute 100% component)

Meanwhile DoKs have an aura for the entire group whenever u attack chance to apply a slow debuff for 20% movement speed reduction.
Their version of Hammer of sigmar seems untouched ( still 100% crit whenever u are drowning in blood )
They got a ability with 5second CD and 5sec duration 25% crit damage increase
They have a slow that slows for 60%.
If they kill someone with the execute they get a 50% movement speed increase for 5 seconds.

On the lakes i used to be able to Kind off catch up with (bad) Squig herders & shamans due to judgement slowing a little bit.
But now those odds have shifted even more, especially agaisnt players who know what they are doing.

The new changes to WP this week were all fine imo, but instead of focusing on extra damage components like an armor debuff which is very useful.
Perhaps a bit more mobility would have been well appreciated ! :)

And for the people who are going to reply with ' the game is not a solo game! ' That is correct, but even in group settings this can be a hinderance, for two classes that should kind of mirror eachother, one sure seems to outshine mobility/slowing wise by a long run

If you design a class, be it healer archetype, to have a fully fledged melee build, which they are obviously trying to achieve with armor debuffs. healing debuffs, strong damage. then a bit of mobility shouldn't be out of the question; as any melee should have. especially when the ranged in this game esp sham/sh have such good mobility & kiting potential.

The issue of WP (wrath) lacking a gap closer is not in comparison to the DoK mirror.

It just stands to reason that a melee dps spec need to have a gap closer, a standard tool vs ranged kiters. Just common sense.

WP had this through the judgment snare, which felt balanced enough. I have suggested to add this effect back with a condition like only proccing from the flank, like the WH pistol snare, in return it could be increased to a 30% snare. This is certainly not too much to ask for.

dont like new tactic 25aa damage and bludgeon, need switch bludgeon with aa speed mb

Dok is in the same basket, can't reach any Rdps
Even with aura, Rdps have 100ft+ range while dok can't hit beyond 65ft
Then, it's a 1s cast 20% chance, by the time you get a proc you are pushing up the daisies
The new 60% slow is placebo, the spell used to refresh all debuff before
Would gladly see this removed and then both dok/wp slow changed to 5s
Same for Wracking Agony speed, useless for 1v1

Dok certainly can slow more than WP, still are worst atrocities
Check out the RP "Immolating Grasp" tactic, infinite slow dot at 100ft range :shock:
Meanwhile, zealot have to stay still while casting
BW also have a channeled slow (and a healdebuff) but sorc only get a useless 2s cast etc...
The game sure can get more balanced for 1v1, without impacting RvR/skirmish

That said, not every Rdps can easily kite and map topography is spicy
Sham/sh require some expertise to master before sov (mine are clowns)
Met several WP with slow potions/flee+ap pot, soon they could slow it was 99% chance to die

Check out Sledge Dok don't have anything like it :cry:
Sure would be great if dok/wp had a real spell to rush, for now guess both can rely on potions
Finally, dps WP endgame is overpowered ; enjoy while it lasts

I've been playing my Dok and it's wayyyy easier than playing wp lol. You can root with the aura and sprint and action point and keep range dmg soo it proc.
In **** oppresor gear and i find Engi way easier to beat than magus. Runie easier to fight against than zeolot pushback. WL easier to deal then Squig. AM easier to deal with than shamans. WH dont have absorb builds you just need to survive the initial 10 seconds after that their done. AGainst witch Elf they proc absorb and they cant get killed or insta kill you. Only thing WP are good for are to fight tanks since they got a **** load of armor pen now. They dont have the burst they use to have making them easier to play but alot more boring spaming bludgeons. With Dok the skill gap alot harder. At first i sucked now i got it down and the gameplay loop is alot more fun and i dont even have bis. I got **** oppresor gear atm with only 650 str. WP just needed a gap closer since Destro got better mobility and singletarget dmg. And sledge weapon kills too much of your stats you need that 6% crit weapons.

Any more or less skilled player on dps am, rp and engineer will easily kite you and kill you, it's just that you personally most likely came across weak players.

Totally agree. This is why I've said for years now that "Order is Hard Mode WAR" - Or that "the Devs MUST play Destro MUCH. MUCH more than Order". On the very face of the game, the skills for the mirrors, and the gear itself, Destro character builds and skills are much more useful, deadly, and work better then the entirety of Order classes. And have been that way since server start 11 years ago. Its also why entire guilds switch from Order to Destro, they can SEE the nerfs to Order, the buffs to Destro on its face. Hell, the gold gain on Destro is fasterm, the grind is easier, the PvE is easier, the group/wb mesh is simpler. It seems everyone playing the game, except the Devs, can tell the on its face difference in the factions. Order has always been hard mode, Destro Easy Mode since server start. And was mostly that way on Live as well. It lends itself to why there's more rdps on Order, more mdps on Destro, and why you can always get a melee train running for Destro wbs, and can't find enough mdps to have six total in a entier wb. Most guilds go from Order to Destro and never really switch back. Why? Its obvious that Order's always nerfed, Destro is always buffed. Always.

Melee DoK has had it's OP stuff removed and other classes still have theirs, it's horrible and outside of ranked, where its only viable because Mura is so much better at DPS and it can supp it, it's just a DPS that's far worse then the rest.

I hope they revert all changes and also give it the same amount of DPS gear as other healers, it is screwed 2x with both changes and on gear with shield set royally messing it up

With not much unique to it anymore, it's lame. Playing a WL or a Mura is just way better for SCs or Rvr. If this is how the devs balance things, I think the DPS balance patch may straight up kill the game, Im really worried.

I completely disagree, now that dps dok has 1600 armor debuff, they are just a better version of Mara.
