Please consider making the BO buff last longer because as it stands the game becomes a NASCAR/F1/rally train of taking bos. Destro and order may avoid each other to max Bo's and struggle to meet due to just being moving around for optimal gains.

20 min forced the train to keep going from bo to Bo and I'm not sure perpetual running is intended as it may prevent fights.

Also the defense bonus should be 2 minutes not 3... So that you're encouraged to remain...

Hello everyone. There was some confusion in the discord on how the prior system worked so let me just share that:

1: There was an invisible, hidden mechanic that granted up to 50% more Renown from a kill based on the distance of this kill to the BO flag. (The closer you are, the more you get.)
2: Field of Glory: granted 150% more renown for player kills if you were in range of a BO or Keep. Granted 100% more XP for kills in the entire zone, and an additional 50% more XP if near a BO or Keep.
3: Battlefield Control: gave 10% more Renown, XP and influence per BO held. It applied to everything, not just player kills.

The first of these was never even visible to players, the second was confusing and strangely built, and the third made sense, but we wanted to combine and streamline these with a new system that’s much more transparent to players.


Those were the old systems that was replaced with the new BO buff system, crest on BO captures and +100% base gain everywhere in RvR.

I should also add that the BO capture crest reward is on a 5 minute CD per BO and player.

It's much better this way!

But please fix the problem with SH's pets; they keep disappearing randomly.

The buff to Magus is both direct and indirect. Those classes without a res buff, all of them nerfed vs magic.

No it is not questionable. A well played Magus is the strongest toon, too much ranged single target dps + sustain/ kite. Its not a secret, unless you're new to soloing. The hierarchy is pretty much, 1) Magus, 2) AM 3) Shaman/WE.

It is like an Engineer on steriods for solo play. Fast-forward to the Magi broken tier section.

Cherrypicking videos of the best players vs pugs is not a correlation.

Listen to random biased destro dude, or analyze what an experienced player is saying in the video. Take a pick :)

P.S. I dont have to cherrypick, i've played solo for years and know what toons are the hardest to beat. Magus is 1 unless you're a SnB tank full of regen( if the Magus player is decent, of course). Those videos are for newbie education.

I am sorry to hurt your feelings, not the intention. Also ( no offence, and i mean that) your not good enough Magus player(solo)to understand what the class is capable of in decent hands. AM just got nerfed vs Magus with the new buff, but yes AM is broken as well.
