Yeah, sounds about right. Id love to see more different classes roaming but i think order have the few classes with no so clear anti builds that ppl just play them as they are strong. On destro you have decent builds across the classes but less builds that can just take on everything. Magus gets close but loses to AMs absorb barrage and lacks healdebuff.

Class balancing remains the number one issue in this game. Too often, we fall back into the same tired routine of "massive nerf to one class, followed by a ridiculous buff to another." The DPS rework is still nowhere in sight, and to be honest, I'm dreading it — because in all these years, I’ve seen very few good reworks or meaningful changes.

Right now, some classes clearly dominate the rest, and that is NEVER a good thing in any game. I’d like to believe that players are looking for a challenge rather than just stroking their egos... but when I see the number of WLs, AMs, and Shamans running around, I start thinking I’m probably wrong.

The devs are very clearly pushing for solo play by handing out ultra-powerful classes that you can play with your feet and the screen turned off — but it comes at the expense of the overall quality of that game mode.

In short: either the DPS rework finally brings some kind of balance, or it's time to reroll a goblin or high elf class.

No, it is about WL being imbalances. Don't try to be misleading.

The OP even states that there is no point in playing ranged classes on destru because WL is too strong.

And if it so, why so many rSH around? Why engi-bw vs sorc-magus at the same popularity place around all dps classes? Who is hard counter on destro side for engi-bw? Anyone?

Whether a class is good at solo-roaming or not should be completely irrelevant to class balance. Classes should be (and are, as far as I know) balanced around 6-man and warband play. It feels like every thread recently about balance, RvR, and scenarios is based around solo play.

I get it, I love solo-roaming as well, and it'd be nice not to get wrecked all the time by certain classes and feel like I have a chance against every class, but balance changes should be made with how a class interacts with a group, not how they perform in a 1v1. Whether a class is effective in solo-roam is a byproduct of its team role, and some are just going to be flat better at that than others. Dps AM and Sham are naturally awesome at solo-roam as a ranged, magic damage, healer class, have all the best elements of what is required for a great solo-roam class, not because they've been purposely designed for it.

end game wl's are stronk! They have nice front brust. Also there is no way to kite them. In live, they dont have m1 root but devs give m1 root in this server. They already have kd, pull and pounce and they have m1 root for a long while. So how to escape or kite wl now?

Yes, Mara have m1 root. What is this jealousy? Mara dont have pounce. WL's are just jealous kittens. They always cry to get everything. And now wl is overperform any mdps in game.

It occurred to me tonight when I saw this Old School trash player on WL, the reason so many play it is because they removed Nerfed Buttons. I mean these guys thought they were the Lords of the Locker Room or something, but I doubt they would even be around since some boomer got banned for the 5th time for trying to sneak a hacked NB into the game.

MSG me if you want to learn how to play with more than 3 buttons.

I completely agree. Why bother learning to play a class that requires investment and can be frustrating, when you can just reroll WL or Sham/AM? I can accept that the game isn't balanced for solo play, but that's no excuse for making solo even more unbalanced by buffing classes that are already extremely easy to pick up. We need to stop denying or ignoring the fact that solo play has its rightful place in the game and also deserves proper balancing. Respect to the few brave ones who still go out solo with something other than stealth classes or AM/WL or Shaman.

we all should roll wl or diff order class to atleast not face them. Maybe with permanent 400% aao and zones empty of destro some changes will come

this is happening already. Destro has been massively outnumbered in player count lately. Order taking each and every zone/fort. Yesterday campaign status 8-0 for Order. Something has to be done to the lockout timer for realm switch. It has to be drastically increased to prevent crossrealming. If this imbalance continues, this leads to more players switching over to the winning side or just get bored and play a different game...
