Aye, a lot of this is true Unfortunately in terms of "tankyness" the SM did/does need some love when compared to others like the IB and KotBS... But as a dedicated SM I have to throw a bit of tlc their way

The 2H SM can be a great supportive MDPS; at L40 I would often stick on Heavens Blade (to get the SD debuff) then unleash:

Ensorcelled Blow (with Ensorcelled Agony) > Wrath of Hoeth (another chance for SD debuff) > Crashing Wave (2 SD attacks with knock down)

Follow this with:

Ensorcelled Blow (with Ensorcelled Agony) > Wrath of Hoeth > Ether Dance (5 SD attacks for free!)

Rinse the blood and tears out of you nice clean white robes and repeat... And you can lay down quite a good bit of hurt

But yeah, as a tank for order KotBS and IB are pretty good.

i'm literally done here and don't know what to say...

Yeah Mara had a buncha bugs on live that really made the class extremely strong however at the same time if you look at it's mirror wl it's the class with the biggest burst in the game for a melee and can do stuff like perma snare kiting and so if az changes the pet to have better ai and changes pet:player stats relationship I feel they could start to be equal

No thier is a reason that Kotbs is called what it is just because it hadn't recived all the abilites that make it so yet dosnt make it untrue, 20% grp crit chance, aoe uncleanseable hdebuff, no need to stack str and ws due to runefang and runefang also stacked with str and tough m2

Furthermore if others can hold opinions of what classes are inferior or superior to which then I to can hold opinions that slayers are Inherently better than choppas at every stage of the game and if you look at my post history to will that I don't spam this I only posted this really once in the "class roles" thread where I cited why I felt this was the case

On topic: play what you want. But you should know that KOTBS is much better tank than SM.

See ive never understood this can someone please explain me once an for all what is wrong with sm's? I've never played the class but in sc's when I encounter them their very durable with bubble and can put out good dmg for a tank cause most of their dmg is spiritual and they can de buff spirit resit and I think that that stacks with kotbs resist aura?

Yeah I heard their trees are kinda **** but so is blorcs with DYG costing 14 points and no other good abilities in the path

But their dmg is still nice, high parry rates down the line and yeah ok no cc but IB and KOTBS got that covered and ordo has 2 rkds as well
