WL gearing advice

Screwed up while lvling and am way undergeared/ low rr. While I’m working to grind that up to be able to get/wear vanq set not sure what else to focus on and would love some help. Doing beast lords, still need a run to get the pocket, and running gunbad and crypts to get those sets as well. Once I hit 45 renown my plan was to wear full conq with 3genisis/BL then replace the conq with vanq. Not sure where to go after that, also for builds I’m running the standard wb loner set up. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Simplest and cheapest- 3 conq (boots + gloves off ah so no crests, + belt which si cheapest part), 4 beastlord- pocket +back + gem + head, sentinel body + shoulders + gem, 2 gunbad str/ws/parry gems off ah. Should give you a very decent stats (3 str set bonuses, 2 wounds bonuses, 1 ws bonus). Can switch some parts around if you want stats on a specific equipment part, if you change conq parts though will cost you more crests.

I’ve already got a full conq set just can’t equip the last 2 pieces…. Working on getting the full sent set, you’d only run sent as 3 piece?

Yep, more than 3 sent and you get too many useless set bonuses like init. Also wouldn't go for -% to be parried- as a wl you already got -20% to be parried from str+ 2h.

Full conq is decent, but personally I wouldn't go for it- too many set bonuses lost compared to 3 conq/ 4 bl/ 3 sent mix. Having a full conq does allows you however to select a different set parts than boots + gloves- for example, sentinel gloves are nice considering str + ws + melee power, conq shoulder is nice if you want to go for aa haste, etc. Select the best parts, depending on your specific build.

3 Sentinel (Helmet,Gloves,Ring) 5 Bloodlord (Shoulder, Cloak, Chest, Belt, Boots) is a good Set. You you get the wards you need so you can save a lot of Crests for the BiS Gear.
Btw initiative is not a useless Stat ;)

3 sent + 5 bl will net more crit, however less str, ws, and wounds, compared to 3 conq/4 beastlord/ 3 sent. And anticrit is the most common defense that people invest in.

Init might not be entirely useless, however it is not nearly as useful as say str or ws, unless you are trying to make some version of regen wl- which is not what is needed for wb, not to mention that even there it will be more effective to go for toughness.

After this would optimum set be 5 vanq 3 sent 3 bl ? Appreciate the help and it’ll be quick to get what I need for your first recommendations

Less WS yes, but a lot more stats/armor. Slot STR Talis and you are almost capped.
I used this Setup before Souv/Triumphant.
