Screen Resolution Issue

Hi all,
I hope you've been well. I'm running this game on a Mac, using the crossover app and when I try to change the resolution of the game, the screen goes black, and I'm unable to relaunch the game to the point where I have to reinstall it. Has this been happening to anyone else? Is there a fix for this please?

probably some sort of mac/crossover issue then. you can manually change the resolution and fullscreen/window options from the
UserSettings.xml file that is located in the user folder of RoR folder
