old prev year event rings rank40 purple u cant upgread to epic level (max level).
so if in this year u will not have money to upgreade to max level than u can trow out it. its will be useless
p.s i hoped for patches what will fix it, byt seems event will be ending.
p.s.s when u wear previous year event ring its not count kills for event 100/50 players and demons.

We're building a new vendor that will allow you to upgrade the level 40 rings that were left at purple and expired last year into Annulus rings this year.

These vendors will arrive in the next patch around the 14th, which is just before the event ends, so we want to let everyone know now so that you can prep your mats / be ready in that window of time to make the upgrade. Thanks!

If you want a smaller force to be able to deal with a larger force (eg an organized 9 man vs a PUG 24 man), it would make sense for the smaller force to be able to target or attack all of the targets at once -- otherwise they will only be able to attack 9/24 people at a time while the PUG 24 man can attack the entire 9 man, all at once, providing a clear disadvantage to the 9 man who were well geared and well coordinated.

TLDR Massive farm in the first 2 (Olympic) weeks of August or wait 1 more year to get annulus rings.

Would it be possible next year to have the talisman slots open up again on existing rings? Might make the talisman profession more appealing.

Would it be possible next year to have the talisman slots open up again on existing rings? Might make the talisman profession more appealing.

I would love to see, either or both :

- Being able to "recreate" the talisman slot on existing rings, with reduced ressources (compared to creating a whole new ring), using an exchange from a NPC.

- Rings slotted with "Twilight" talismans decaying into smaller bonus (like 4% parry becoming 2% permanently, 2% becoming 1% and so on), permanently.

- Or make "permanent" talismans wich can only be slotted once and for all (disallowing any other talisman afterward), with above mentioned reduced bonuses. Permanent talismans should be much costly to craft.


All three options will renew the talisman making appeal, wich curently is very, very poorly rewarded, because difficulty of getting pristine shards (I wasted like 100 tools for 2 or 3 pristine shards, maybe bad luck but I feel chances are lower than gems and metal).

Will you also be putting in the vendor that allows you to unbind rings for a small amount of time like last year? That would be helpful for people that got better rings this year and want to give away old rings to friends/guildies or sell them.

100%! Even if there was a vendor each year where players could trade their "expired" rings for the same ring with the talisman slot, that would be great for the artificer trade.

I would gladly see rings decaying, but only allowing like green talismans, or normal ones with bonus +12 / +15 max, it would make them really good rings, with customizable options, and each year making talisman crafting more appealing, since you would get access to other bonuses specific to this event (with lesser efficiency on old rings and 30d timer).
