Didnt this used to work at least with WL pet that when you detaunted pet detaunted as well and stopped attacking or am i imagining this? Btw please "revert" Wl Pet AI to 2017-2018 it srsly worked like it should! You could use pounce when you were knockbacked off from a bridge and pet would still be there on the bridge. No random disappearances. I think its because Pet reaction speed used to be like 2s and now its super fast but it bugs it out and makes it not able to function at all. Tell me if im wrong here btw becaues im quessing.

Pets got grp heals and all buffs except guard. And as a Wl you could pounce to keep wall and pet would be up there already when you land and speed training wasnt even required. Imo pounce dmg should be 1s delayed like it used to so it would sync alot better with AA+Pet+Armour Debuff+Coordinated strike AA = Dead.

And then WL would never fetch once again, because anyone detaunting it, the pet would stop to pursuit and get back.

WHY NOT!? Lets kill WL for once and all and all white lion char become swordmaster! :D

That was the opposite of what i mean. I meant when WL the player detaunts, the pet aoe detaunts as well, and i said i might be rembemering it wrong=) On the contrary i want the old Pounce + Pet actually working back because playing WL without the pet shouldnt be better than actually playing with the pet. And the Pet worked SO MUCH BETTER 2017-2018. this no pet current boring ae spam 24 cap bullshaieeet i hate

Pet classes (well squig herder at least) have a lot of damage tied to their pet, which means you can detaunt it while still attacking the squig herder. It's not all advantages.

EDIT: misunderstood :)

But i will say that it still is similar to DoT class issues. Just think of the pet as a nonpuragable dot :)

Amazing job at misunderstanding my post kragg.
I was pointing out that multiple classes have similar tactics they use to reduce incoming damage while continually attacking. Does it annoy me that AMs pretty much melt me with their dot-detaunt tactic? yes. Do I think it should be changed? NO. It is part of the game. DeAl with it. And deal with my squig attacking you while I detaunt and hide behind a tree.
Sever1n: I find it hilarious that someone who plays the most OP order classes complains about SHs. AMs, SMs, WHs, IBs and WLs are very diffecult for RSH. Hell, tanks are probably the worst class to face. I MIGHT get away, but it is rate that I can solo kill a tank.
Honestly folks, try some introspection. Examine why you are all constantly trying to get other classes nerfed.

This is a non issue - devs have limited time which needs to be directed at more important things like nerfing orders OP classes - AM,SW and the WL abomination

Looks like its common practice on this forum to accuse other classes in attemps to hide toxic mechanics. If u have problems with any of that classes u can create topic where u explain devs why are they are OP and maybe devs will listen. People will be happy to discuss your arguments. But now we discuss pet behaviour, and i find that bufiing mobile turret that famous with buggy shooting trough walls while owner that have ton on panic buttons and insane kite, just hangs out in detaunt and facetank in squigh armor is pretty toxic in 1vs1 situation ( which usualy not concern devs, sadly ). "Look at other classes theyre OP" its not a justification for this.

Well, this is fairly spot on. As such pet should kinda also deal 50% damage when the player is detaunted, and when the player detaunts :)

This all used to be a non-issue when pets dealt no damage. Now they do deal damage. Along with the actual classes tied to certain pets being buffed to through the roof. It sometimes feels like someone looked at certain classes, and thought the pets deal no damage, lets buff the actual players damage to compensate. Then after thought hey, pets still deal no damage, maybe lets buff them aswell. So things ended up with the best of both worlds, all while pets remain separate entities as far as detaunt goes.

Meanwhile other DoTs were in fact nerfed! Remember DoTs used to tick for full damage under detaunt. People pretend like stuff like AM DoTs under detaunt never were touched, but they literally were nerfed by 50%, that's the entire reason that whole mechanic exists.
