What's the current faction balance later in the game? Is it fairly balanced or skewed more towards a particular faction?

By balance I mean it's not one faction winning 75% of the time and the other just getting wins here and there.

I know lots will probably say it doesn't matter much, but I'm curious before I decide between AM and Zaelot to focus on. I don't really have a preference either way atm and both are only ~15ish.

KPI actually said the right answer to this question.

There are realm differences and inbalances, certainly. However everyone talks their realm and class down in order to create an impression that their class/realm is inferior and does not deserve nerfs but buffs instead - repeated enough times that it hopefully festers and gets accepted as a general opinion so that people that actually make game balance decisions act upon that general opinion. Because everyone much rather prefers to win and doesn't actually want a balanced game, but a game that favours their own classes into which people put time and effort into.

You are certainly able to have fruitful discussions about class balance - and the game balance is certainly not perfect - but you will not find any objective opinion on the forums. Any viewpoint - none ever underlined with objective data but only ever reported through the subjective lense of their own ability to play the class - gets screamed down by players who would suffer from class changes being enacted on that viewpoint and the mob mentality does the rest.

So for the purpose of your question, assume the game is balanced. Either way, something everyone agrees on, in the big picture it's more about good warband composition, good warband leading and good warband intercommunication than any class balance on either side.

Depends, nothing is perfectly balanced and some classes do over perform and some are utter rubbish. But in general RVR, dest has the advantage in open field fights due to stronger CC and escape tools. Order is better in enclosed spaces and funnels (keeps etc).

I would play DPS AM and focus more Solo and SC's. And play Zealot as well but Heal +Rvr GRp focus. That way you will learn about game and factions Truthfully.

Balance overall between the sides is pretty good. Each side has its differences, but there isnt a huge power gap between the two. Order has Rampage for meatgrinding through funnels, Destro has Get to Da Choppa for running down escaping pug players. Witch Hunter can facetank any class 1v1, Witch Elf can cheese kill a Witch Hunter with a lot of skill and kiting.

Literally any other balance gripe is about minor things that dont make much difference in hte grand scheme of things.

I think it’s important to note players on this server play both order and destruction so from a numbers perspective alone it can fluctuate quite a bit.
