Cannot Equip BoE

Hi, i'm new here
I made myself a black orc to try the game for the first time.
I'm lvl 6 or so, and i can't equip BoE items, even though they don't require a specific career.
As an exemple, i have nothing on my shoulder, but i can't equip the Worned Mail Spaulders.
Have i missed something ? If so, thank you in advance for the help

Hey, try to restart the whole game (incl the launcher) again and see if the problem persists. A complete restart should work though.

Those are medium armour item that is the reason black orc needs heavy armour.
