Constant Freezing Crash Issue

When I hit level 2 on any character, gain a renown rank, or fly to a capital city, my game freezes and I have to close it in task manager.

It happens whether I have add-ons enabled or not.

I have done a repair and a complete wipe and re-install, it continues to be an issue.

Any suggestions?

Whats your hardware? RAM, CPU? have you checked temperatures?
do you have the game on HDD or SSD? maybe your drive has bad sectors and starting to go.
Do you run any thirdparty FPS counters or other overlay tools that might inject some weird stuff into the game?

Windows 10
32GB RAM
Intel Core 1i-4770k CPU
Temperature is a steady 160° Fahrenheit when under load

HDD - The problem started two days ago, so maybe that's it, though I'm experiencing no issues elsewhere.

160 F is 71°C i guess.. well that should be ok i think. do you have overclocks or something?
this game pushes single core the most, maybe its not that stable in those situations.
other thing also could be RAM. maybe run some memtest program if you can. But memory issues usually should be more bizarre and should happen with everything else on your system also.
do a Hard drive SMART scan and see if there are issues with the drive.
try to take the CPU OC off if you have and try without for some time.

I don't have any overclocking, and there were no reported errors.

However, restarting my computer seemed to fix the issue.

Sorry I didn't think of that before wasting your time.

Its all good.. maybe windows updates weren't completed?
