Still making 500-8k renown per kill here and loving it. I wish some of you would try the solo roaming playstyle, it's so much more engaging and rewards genuine competition. Half the fun is tryharding your setup to counter other classes. Great fun.

iam doing it ez as even as low we and have a lot of fun but i just cant do it as chosen for example while chosen solo i playable atelast 70+ or even more...

yeah that's a valid issue, devs need to balance the classes properly in small scale, either that or join the crowd of dps AM/shamans to activate RoR's easy mode.

I think the evidence is on my side here, other games balance for small scale and it works really well, look at WoW arenas, there is great class diversity, not so much with RoR ranked where you can cheese the system by playing a meta class.

You're not going to lose your WB balance by looking at small scale, you'll still need to layer Challenge rotations with Immaculate Defense, Eye of Sheerian, Divine Protection morales on a push. Classes can still have iconic WB abilities such as Zealot winds, slayer/choppa aoe pressure and so on. There is plenty of room to balance both large and small scale, it's not a binary decision. The devs just don't really have that knowledge of small scale balance that myself and others can provide.

they never balanced game in small scale since server is out. you think they will do now?

Other games you're referring to have pure mirrored classes or even better, classes are same for each faction and there are games with no faction at all like GW2. The number of available skills is also ridiculous and specialisation possibilities are restricted as much as possible : GW2 and at least WoW follow those simplified models. GW2 got even rid of the gear parameter, everyone has same.

In games like that, small scale balance makes sense, in RoR it doesn't because of interactions and synergies you can have depending on which classes are in the party, specialisations with multiple hybrid possibilities and gear influence. Imagine the number of combinations with 24 different-but-a-bit-similar classes and people who decide to play this or that spec. You must balance every possibilities, it'll take quite a lot of time imho.

dont balance basing on small scale, just fix (increase) renown gained from group playing at rvr till 80. Then reduce amount gained.
