The more I think about it the more I think it is a shitty patch too.

There are classes that do not need complex checks to produce good output.

Mara's Guillotine for example, one of the hardest hitting skills in the game - you see health bar is below half - you hit it, you crit it, you kill it. Job's done, a very skillful play. You do not need NB and can jump on the forums laughing.

Taking example of the opposite situation. Witch hunters attacks from behind. Battle is like a crazy dance party - everybody is moving non-stop and this second I am hitting from behind, next second I am not. And this goes on and on and on. You really need NB here. Otherwise your best damaging attacks are not being used.

These are just examples of two classes but clearly one of them has just became very much different after this shitty patch.

Anytime an action bar slot is changed during combat, all skills go on a 3 second cooldown. So yes, as CastSequence modifies abilities on the action bar it will be affected by this.

Has anyone mentioned bans? The devs have blocked how NerfedButtons and other addons work, so having them in your addon folder isn't really a problem as addons can no longer modify action bar slots in combat without triggering a forced 3 second cooldown. I'm still waiting for a reply (from anyone) about how people use the triggers in NB without also modifying the action bar slot when the ability is ready to be used.

As an older player with severe Carpel Tunnel syndrome it is a pity to see you won't continue to cater to the disabled player base with the removal of NerfButtons.
This can only result in more casual 'here for fun' players leaving because a few of the so called "elite" want to dominate further by showing off they can hit 40 keys at once.
This is a great way of making the community more toxic, and reducing the player base overall.
Younger, casual players are also going to be hit by this as many older players bring thier kids along to play who are too young to be able to cope with the amount of keys used in most rotations.
NB does not allow players to dominate. A good player won't use it at all because its inferior to a skilled player and is actually a downgrade. It's removal however will create a big gulf between skilled vs casual players. So.. expect your population to decrease significantly. Quite why anyone would be bleating about "skillz" in a game 20 years old is beyond me. Most of the playerbase is here for fun and nostalgia, those are the ones that'll be hit the hardest by this change.

Exactly, I for example play with an engineer with the grenade path, to kill someone I need to throw my 5 dot damage first, taking into account that I have a high turret multiplier (recently nerfed), then use the rifleman path skills and repeat the rotation hoping that no one heals him or runs away, I wish I had the damage of a sorc that in a 3 second rotation takes the same life as me in 10-15s.
I don't even want to imagine how black orc and ironbreaker players must be with this patch, for some classes the nb ban is irrelevant, but for other classes it is a drama.

Yet another heavy handed solution to a "perceived problem"

People here praising NB removal because they want to justify it as the reason they lost or still believe lies like it bypasses GCD

Yet you guys keep plan B despite it also being used as a skill sequencer just like NB

Y'all didn't like the conditional checks that NB has? You could of just done something using your client controll to address it. Not like people can't just use custom buffhead lists to watch for immunities and the like

Y'all gonna do something about stuff like enemy and buffhead next too since they also give so many advantages?

Some people really need NB to play due to disabilities and some classes like IB and BG need it too to reduce button bloat and the ones with multi button mouses and macros won't give a dam. Feels like a real slap in the face to just remove NB with no warning out of the blue

No for some players it is a drama. Out of principal I never used the NB cheater addon and I can play BO/IB fine, just like all other classes.

No for some players it is a drama. Out of principal I never used the NB cheater addon and I can play BO/IB fine, just like all other classes.
Do you use enemy addons? bufffhead/daoc? potionbar and its macros? tether/teather? they can be call kinda cheat also...

I don't know about potionbar, but all the other stuff you mention does nothing more than display information. NB is something completely different, it's making choices for you and can even do checks to help it do so.

But keep the salt coming, imagine a game actually being somewhat difficult OMG :D
