Untick your Warhammer folder from read-only.

I keep trying to do that but it keeps coming back

That looks like your original WAR install path. I haven't heard of anyone being able to use the original install files. Download the game from the website. I've had more luck with the direct download links.

Cool. Were you playing right up until it was shutdown? I know the files that are being used are from the latest patch.

It seems I needed to give Full Control in the Securities tab under the Warhammer Folder Properties..
