[Engi] Best build & BiS for Grenadier/Sniper

I'm running a grenadier build that goes high up into rifleman for the snipe ability. Its a build specifically for keep sieges/defenses. I'm 5/7 invader for the 10+ range bonus with a vanq chest piece. What gear should I be looking for to replace genesis jewelry? Seeing as how invader has a jewelry piece!

Are fort weapons worth the time/effort? I hear that there's some PvE stuff I should be looking into but I don't really like PvE. If they're -that- good though, I'd love to be pointed in the right direction!
