How to efficiently gain influence in RvR?

I remember back in the day I would gain influence simply by being in large scale battles. But I’ve been with a big group (for about an hour) doing just that and I’m not even close to the first reward.

at level 1 make your way to the warcamp avoiding any career xp, if playing Order theres a teleporter at elf ch1 and dwarf ch1, if your playing destro you will have to walk to the warcamp and expose your self to zone discovering xp making your career level higher than your renown level.

the trick is to be RR4 before you reach level 2 for destro spam scenarios, for order take the teleporter and run boxes

group xp doesnt split when turning in boxes but having a quick hand while being solo is more efficient, i have better time maxing out t1 influence and other tiers influence running solo.

I find running boxes as a small group in T1 is more efficient, you all get full bonus near the flag. Especially NA time the zones are quiet. You can run them from 2 BOs too. Add in random kills if anyone tries to bug you. Just make sure you aren't spending more time waiting for boxes with more peeps.

Your group member (but not warband member) box turnins are awarded to you as well if you are nearby. The most efficient way is for a small group to all get a box then turn in together. The exact timing depends on where the bos are in relation to the turnin but basically there is no reason not to just run in a group of 6 since the box gives full credit to everyone anyway.

Boxes will eventually expire, though it takes a while. Typically gathering 3 or 4 boxes before turnin is the sweetspot. If you want to be super elaborate 6 people in two groups of 3 gathering from 2 different bos and all being at the turnin point before turning in probably is most optimal.

At any rate actually maxing out influence is pretty fast when you focus on box running and so perfecting this is not required. Past t1 you run boxes for other reasons and influence will just naturally max out with out you having to worry about it.
