The thing is...

...take that noob char a rr80+ vs a sov rr80+ SH. Swap the Run N Shoots out for the finishers and REWORKED red tipper arrer (clearly was OP bug or not) and you have current combat logs, basically. The amount of times ive been 3x crit for 1500+ by SH's isn't really a 'Wow thats sick' moment anymore and more of a 'Meh, at least my Flanking shot can hit for 900'.

Next time detaunt, according to dmg log you did not.
Your hits can be the same or higher with dmg buff.
Your positioning is suboptimal, when you have several enemy rdps in range. You shouldn't be the first target for them to hit.

That the rSH had much better gear than you is just a detail, not the key reason to got obliterated.
Dying is no option.
