Faction lock is not a shabby answer when it is the reason people cannot do what you propose and change sides for city, it is a legitimate reason of why that is not an option for them. Bringing in aesthetics and class appearance is a separate topic from this one, but I remember only a couple of weeks ago (when order were dominant) and Altdorf was 5* for almost a week before destro finally sieged, so that is an invalid argument. As I mentioned previously server/faction balance is in the hands of the players and changes all the time.

To be honest there have been occasions recently when as Order I missed out when queing solo or in groups, which never happened in the past. But every time I have queued as a 24 man I have always got a pop, and usually a pop within 2-3 minutes
12, but yes I think you're right, going as 24 and que'ing fast seems the best way to stand a chance, I mentioned on my original post this is for both sides (no bias or preference) as it doesn't matter if you play order or destro, missing a city when you have done your best to get in one is a frustrating experience for the player regardless of which side they play on. I am quite surprised at some of the negativity on here at a suggestion for a quality of life feature available to all players on both sides.

city comes not by surprise city not happen within a few minutes nobody starts with faction lockout so yeah i think its a excuse not more not less.

not sure what you talking about. didnt see a post about in the forum from a order NA player. Not sure why you try to mislead in this discussion with you unqualified answers

A better idea to reward actually reaching a city would be to increase amount of royals for winning a fort as an attacker. This have the benefit of only rewarding those actually pushing for city and not city loggers showing up because they got pinged in disc when last lord is going down.

Not true as people log in and see end zone locks and potential forts happening and want to get in on the action, not sit around in IC/Altdorf (to avoid RvR faction lock) semi afk and staring at SOR in case a potential city happens (if everyone did that they would never happen).

last 2 cities i tried to join we get no pop and we queued as full wb (was some time ago, +2months ago) => i know its a destro issue, and one of the main reasons that order winrate in cities sucks (since cities launched)

I don't think people should be rewarded for something they haven't earnt.

You can chose to play an overpopulated or underpopulated faction and that comes with unhidden consequences.
