But still you replied to it. Must be the third eye or something. :D
labotimy wrote:look at the screenshot.
I did. But probably you don't know that, as you didn't read that post.
I was talking about not reading the rules post you linked.
I see. Everyone should actually read the ToS. I don't know if there is some automatism atm, that points new people to this part of the forum. If there is none, this should be changed imo.

Just to make it clear:

I was never writing, that there is a big advantage from this atm. Instead i wrote, that there may be other bugs like this in the future, that give the abuser/exploiter/whatever a much bigger advantage (e.g. T1 players can equip T3 weapons).
I linked the part of the ToS, because "It's alpha, so i can do what i want." is not true/allowed.
Spoiler:
Coryphaus wrote: When i politely asked him to please un equip the 2h he stated no that it "looks cool and that this is an alpha so i can abuse this bug a bit so w/e"

Imo if people wouldn't have used this bug (even if "just for the lulz"), there wouldn't be so much confusion about it leading to this thread and all the flaming.

You want a project that has 500-1000 players to start kicking people for doing harmless **** that will get fixed? Get good.
DONT YOU EVER TRY TO SPEAK TO ME AGAIN. Your absolutely selfish way to throw stones and hide the hand against any form of good behaviour, this time againt my guild, arent gonna be forgotten, man. Your way to try to discredit any person that try to solve the things u exploit is hateable and can be easily tracked in ur post's history.

I disliked you. Now i directly hate you. You named my guild-mates racists. You tried to blame the good name of my guild. You can't say the same about the name of your guild, that is widely regarded, with probes, a lot, as exploiters and bad loosers.

This is, and will be, by last answer ever to you.
You try to get me banned for doing something that gives NO combat advantage/is merely an aesthetic thing, then yes - I will call you out.

Don't hurl stones if you can't deal with people throwing them back at you.
Your guildmates are racist (ask one of your orcs for his views on English people)

Your guild? I don't even know you. Do you make scenario premades/orvr groups that 99% win? No? Then you have no authority to say anything to me.

Go cry some more about irrelevant things, and make more strawman arguments.

Aza just allowed exploiters of a bug off the hook. Huge advantage or not, the people that do this are deliberately ABUSING a bug. I understand if they did it once or twice to test the bug and report it but to actively abuse the bug again and again, day after day. week after week, huge advantage or not, should not be tolerated in this community. Should the people be banned? Hell no, but they should get a warning and be forced to stop the exploitation of a bug., whatever it happens to be.

Aza can say all he wants about it being fixed in a future patch but that doesn't change the abuse of the bug currently. If anything, this gives people leeway for further exploitation of "minor" advantageous bugs in the future.
Do you know the difference between a bug and an exploit?
Can you offer me conclusive evidence, empirically verifiable, showing that the usage of a level8 renown-vendor OH 1h is advantageous to a DPS chosen?

zombi i dont even know who you are. dat alias

LOL really? Already unequiped it....what the F more do you want? Yea so what, i abused some minute BS bug that did F all. The entire WH/WE community actively abuse an incredibly broken bug by simply playing the class, and yet your here talking about level 8 claymores and off hands. piss off.

Ignore them, Sini :)
People want to get us banned for minute little things so that the server can go back to being Order dominated.

With small communities, one is forced to pick one's battles carefully. Do I abhor the cavalier attitude displayed towards bug abuse? Sure. Do I think that equipping obsolete weapons in order to dual wield or equip a shield is a problem? No.

Amen for Azarael - again.

If I am asked to stop using dual-wield by the devs, then I will.

I reiterate: it offers me no bonus/advantage whatsoever.

Azarael is a logical, rational mind: something that this community needs, instead of knee-jerk reactions to minor things.

I can hardly see the difference of loosing 2 maybe 3 persons doing this. I can as opposite see the advantages of the vast ammount of people actually taking rules seriously. If its a game, cheating is cheating. Games are meant to be played by all players with the same rules, then something, either luck or skill or whatever, decides who wins. U cant encourage a part of the community to actually search for "minor" exploits, cause they will, and eventually find that 3 minor ones are a mayor one.
