It already seemed like maybe they did, this was for sure a balance around 1v1 as it just didn't matter elsewhere.

Also whoever loses 1 to 3 against a tank, unless you are 3 MDPS with 0 sustain, pots, self-heals, etc, then shame. If you have even one healer that tank can't hurt you.

The chosen still has way more tools to do damage, their physical is still fine and they get weapon skill as well as strong spirit damage even after the patch.

Let's TAKE A LOOK shall we?

Chosen/KotBS

Deamonclaw - the better runefang (+ws/+str)./ Runefang (+toughness/+initiative)

Opressing blow + Relentless strikes- 15% crit chance AND turns his channel ability (relentless strikes) into spirit damage. / Myrmidia's fury - a really bad physical ability + Overpowering swings, a 10% crit chance debuff that can be blocked.

THE LEGENDARY SOLO CHOSEN will be fine. The knight who tried so hard to make use of his offense via mighty soul is just further kicked into the dirt. I think this is just carelesness, I dont want to assume malice when it comes to video game balancing cause that would be silly, but it sure looks like lack of insight to me.

Not everyone has an amazing guild to back them in their endavours to struggle with a game development that simply doesnt care about balance. Not to mention that in order to make mighty soul work you'd have to push well into sov/warlord. Now there's barely any reason to play 2h. The things you get for grabbing a 2hander are not worth losing hen you drop the shield build. Not even close.

As always they continue to mess up classes with every change , I remember a couple years ago they wanted to remove guard from tanks using a 2H , because to many tanks were going 2H, and not enough were using a shield.

They nerfed Runefang, and changed it removing the strength, because it was to strong, changed dirty tricks, changed some of the chosen abilities , etc , basically all they want you to do as a tank, is just guard, spam hold the line, and challenge, don't do anything outside of that, dont try to have fun playing differently.

you need to play how they want you to play, your character, and not any other way , they just need to remove all abilities that do any damage or require a 2H weapon, and make everything S+B requirement.

Basically just stop trying to have fun with your knight, and just be a buff bot, so the rest of the classes can have fun , no one cares if you are having fun or not.

I would almost 100% agree with you but if you look at 2h of some tanks they are in a really good spot. From order side, IB and SM are really good 2handed tanks. Chosen is barely affected by this nerf cause he gets spirit damage channel and crit chance anyway. As far as the kotbs goes, screw em. The only reason now to go 2h is arcing swing, literally nothing else. And yes while arcing swing is good, you sacrifice everything that makes the class still good. Just for that debuff. That parriable debuff. So you are downgraded from a Tanky buffbot guard to a squishy buffbot guard. Great.

These things solely are not worth dropping a shield. These things you take if u have a wb full of KoTBS with shields. Greatsword is not a weapon it is a magic wand that removes hp. It's a one skill nerf taken for warband diversity that is already partially outweighed by getting dirty tactics.
