You are not denied anything, you are denying it yourself.Vandoles wrote: Sun Sep 06, 2020 11:16 pmI'm denied a piece of content. I'm also denied scenarios outside the one pug scenario, serious orvr play since I won't get into the big premades and generally get obliterated and denied to play in the open field.Spoiler:
For some bizzarre reason everyone like you seems to think what casuals want is to win and get gear. Casuals want to participate. The problem is full denial of fun. And if you somehow get that point across, all you get is "quit if you don't like it". Which is baffling considering hardcore players are the ones who play the game more, so they should care about its dwindling playerbase more.
You are allowed to solo queue city, you're allowed to solo queue any sc (except for 6vs6 ranked) in rotation.
You don't want to lose, because you get less rewards i.e. you want to win and get gear because that's fun, trying to hide behind "getting stomped by tryhards isn't fun" doesn't change that fact.
If I don't want to participate in a certain part of a MMO I can't expect to reap the rewards that are given to the people that play part. If I only wish to play PvP in WoW I will be limited by the rewards that are given to me through PvP, If I don't want to play Dungeons I can't expect to have good enough gear to play Raids by just questing, because there's a way of progression that I need to accept.
This is not the case in RoR, I don't need anything but 40/40 to enter a city instance, will I lose with a 40/40 character with rainbow gear, without pots and some solo build against a premade wb?
Yes.
Have I put the effort into win?
No.
Yet you keep complaining about how you are somehow denied the city content, can you specify what this content is?
What keeps you from queuing SCs that are not the current PUG?
I've met a lot of players who enjoy the solo experience of MMORPGs and I understand what they enjoy to a certain point, but none of them have complained about how they are locked out of content because they choose to play solo, because they knew they were going to be locked out from certain aspects of the game going into the game solo, but from the solo players on these forums I just see moaning and complaining about how hard it is for them and how the devs keep ruining their experience (there's a a lot of players that play solo and enjoy it, but they don't complain on the forums about it on a daily basis).
I started as a solo player, played solo for about 2-3 years before I started grouping with people, so I know what it's like being a "casual solo player" but as a solo player I never set up any expectations or felt that I was entitled to having the BiS, I did as best as I could with what I had and I had a lot of fun while doing it trying to find builds that worked for how I wanted to play.

You're stuck in the same idea that I don't want to lose because I get less rewards and I want to win and get gear because that's fun, which is utterly and completely wrong and an assumption you've pulled out of literally nowhere. Basically everything you wrote is an assumption based on your idea that everyone has fun the same way you have fun. While we're putting words in each others mouth and assuming random things out of thin air, there's no reason whatsoever to continue this.Rapzel wrote: Mon Sep 07, 2020 2:56 pmYou are not denied anything, you are denying it yourself.Vandoles wrote: Sun Sep 06, 2020 11:16 pmI'm denied a piece of content.
