Lancher has Big File update

My launcher since the night before, 9/3/2020, has been doing a "file update" worth of 172470 files. Is this a bug or an update I missed? Also, it only updates if I do nothing but move the mouse to keep the screen from going blank, not rest I turned that off, and I can't even open my web browser without it stopping. I uninstalled the launcher and re-downloaded it but it still persists, any ideas and what's going on.

I found out what was going on it was re-comping the game repeatedly. First uninstall the game, there is a unins2 file in the download folder to uninstalled the game. What you will have to after that to stop it from repeatedly downloading is to remove all files, even the file that you put it in, from your computer totally, go into the recycle bin and delete the files from the bin as well, then re obtain the torrent file and download it again. And as of a bit ago I found out that it was making 212 copies of the game on my computer.

I hope this never happens to anyone else, but just in case this is how you fix it.
