No Spell Effects Showing/Sounds Triggering

Hey all! Myself and a bunch of Myrmidons are coming back to the game, so excited to play again. Having one issue however, for some reason none of the spell effects are working or showing up. When I go into stealth, my character doesn't "fog out". I can't see AoE damage pits, can't see when gobbo snare pits are on the ground, can't see anything nor hear much of this stuff trigger off.

I've tried everything with my graphical settings, audio, making sure the game client is on 64 bit....I'm at a loss. I could always run this game at max settings with no issues.

Was something changed? Is there something I'm missing or I should look into?
