Re: WE/WH too hard burst
I dont think they burst too much. They die way faster that they kill in a 1vs1 among themselves. Who leaves stealth and press feinted faster, wins. Also, u are speaking of players that have the character maximixed, ask people with normal equipt and they will not think the same.

Re: WE/WH too hard burst
With the lion you are correct. Was in nordland rvr area on my shaman earlier with a slayer,wh and wl and the wl with the lion had the better burst, around 35% of my hp's in 1 gcd tho the wh was harder to tank due to the heal debuffjonathanmurphy3 wrote:WH/WE burst is nothing compared to WL burst lol...

Edit- also i know beyond tier 1 lion pet needs some luvin but its odd that in t1 the pets attacks do more damage then the player.

Re: WE/WH too hard burst
I think at the moment the problem is related to the high offensive stats (strength, ballistic, intelligence) that cancel out big parts of the enemies damage avoidance chance (block, parry, etc.).
So activating "feinted position" + torment spam + high strength = almost zero mitigation/avoidance = easy win even against tanks.
Imo this should be different when renown abilities work and classes get on higher levels more abilities that increase block/parry chances.

Re: WE/WH too hard burst
Basically this, it's Tier one so things are going to be a little hard since we don't have all the abilities yet and no renown or no potions/talis. WE/WH as well as AM/Shaman get the core of their dps abilities in Tier 1 while other classes like tanks and such have to wait 'til later tiers to get their best abilities. Also someone mentioned earlier, people are maximizing their gear, so players max their strength/intelligence/ballistic using jewelry and what not without other players not being able to counter with abilities that they get later on in the game be it disarm/silence, or certain tactics.Soulcheg wrote:subj

Not really.Luth wrote: So activating "feinted position" + torment spam + high strength = almost zero mitigation/avoidance = easy win even against tanks.
1v1 WE have advantage over 1 tank, 50-50 (or even slightly advantage for tank) with other tank and basically almost guaranteed losing vs third tank class.
I speak about both well players being well geared and some knowegedle of how to play their class.
