I feel that magus is a much better solo'r than engie if that how you wish to play then i suggest rolling magus insted

Why are people talking about engis and magus?

Try SH it def has some of the sickest burst damage ingame atm and some very useful pets with squig frenzy you make every singel order run for there breath. The Greenskin tactic has a 25% to detaunts the enemy and reducing the opponents damage down to 75% for 5 sec if hit it breaks,also the ability [Don't eat me] Reduces the damage by down to 50%. Combined it gives you A Great wall of damage reduction played correct and you can solo almost anyone accept very overgeared Healer classes since t1 healing is OP.

Engi get armour while Magus get Robe.

The terms "armor" and "robe" don't matter WAR.
There are only three types of armor: light, medium and heavy.
A light "robe" has the same armor value as a light "armor", same for medium robes/armor (non-stealth mDPS + WP/DOK).

Extensively searched for this to find both sets depicted in a same web, and u are true. Somehow i allways felt way weaker in Magi than in Engi in Live, but this is 100% correct, so my apologize, as was my assumption. Somehow i still feel Magi weaker and easier to kill.

Magus is better because of the mess that Bali.Skill and Intelligence are for Engis. Plus they need to consider weapon dps as well. Horrible mess!

Meanwhile Magus only needs to stack defencive stats + intelligence.

Guess which one is prefered...

What would you say are the chances of a tanky engy with full trivial blows against a good WE unstealthing on him for example? sorry for double post.

full tank engi can spanner spam a WE done it on live with heal keg goin and stagger kb
