I logged in first time no issue.. sort of. I was picking my character to make, but noticed that none of the character models at the selection screen were loaded, only their weapons. I closed the game, ran the repair tool to verify everything, and it all checked out. Launching the game again triggered the opening cinematic (which didn't play my first log in for some reason), but the cinematic was totally black with only the voice. Pressing esc to skip it resulted in just a black screen, no response to anything.
I have the client running on 64 bit mode, as I'm on 64 bit. Running the launcher as admin, and everything is in the war folder is checked to be writable (not read-only) as per the instructions.
Intro Cinematic: No video. No character models either.

Re: Intro Cinematic: No video. No character models either.
Uhm. Okay. I'm not sure what I did that fixed the issue. In case anyone else has a similar issue, this is what I tried. One of the following may have fixed it, or none at all and I just had a freak occurrence.
1. Set my launcher back to 64-bit
2. Set it to run in compatibility mode for Win 7
3. Applied the same compatibility mode for the War exe itself, 64 version, also ensured that it was set to run as admin
Launching the launcher again had it download some extra things, didn't catch what they were. Whelp.

Spoiler:
it's recommended to run the game with 64-bit

Are you running Win 7?
Re: Intro Cinematic: No video. No character models either.
Think you simply didn't exit and run the client several times before clicking play so the client was able to get all the files that makes the game run as it should.
No?
No?
