i need help

i rececntly downloaded the game and am able to start it without a hitch but as soon as i want to select my first char to play i doesnt do anything.
i can click on everything or anything and i doesnt register my click i think, and its not my mouse because i can use i normally with everything else.

i get the error notice below alot when starting the game with the laucher,
