Can't update the game

Checked and there are a lot of posts with similar problem, but my directory is read/write and I have a slightly different error:

Error Downloading updater:
System.IO.IOException: The process cannot access the file 'D:\Program Files (x86)\Warhammer Online - Age of Reckoning\RoRLauncher.exe' because it is being used by another process.

This is the erro I got after hitting update. Any ideas?

Looks like you forgot to turn off torrent client.
If not that restart pc as maybe a instance of game started and lies in background somewhere

Same as above, check that you turned off torrent after you downloaded the game

Well I most definitly don't have a torrent or torrent client running. I have also since restarted my pc several times as this problem was a day or so ago. Still not fixed. I downloaded the game and had it working some time ago, but it wont update now.

Ok looks very much like it to me , worth moving the contents to another directory

Also check again the write protection flag is removed

So I fixed my problem by going into the WAR directory and using RoRUpdater.exe instead of RoRLauncher. That was all. As soon as I loaded the updater it just updated real quick, then automatically loaded up the launcher which was alos downloading stuff for a brief minute and now it's ready to go. Before this, I was loading the launcher and when i clicked update it would open the updater and stop giving me the error I originally posted.
