RoRUpdater not working, Warpatch.exe missing

I added the folder to my av exceptions list, disabled read only, and tried the launcher. I get a red update button which downloads nothing then closes the launcher and nothing happens. When I try the updater, nothing happens. Tried running as admin and as admin with windows 7 compatibility, no change. Looked for warpatch.exe and it's not there. Should I just delete everything and try again?

I have pretty much the same problem - since a couple of weeks actually.
The only difference is that I have a warpatch-file.

Nonetheless: nothing happens after clicking the red update button in the launcher.

What can we do?

I ran into a similar issue recently after taking a long hiatus from this game.

I was eventually able to get everything working by:

Run installer "as admin"
under settings, repair.

A full repair fix worked here. If this does not work for you, it might be faster to backup your interface and user directions and do a reinstall.
