Why no Love for WH’s?

Hi Guys

I’ve just downloaded the game and I’ve tried a few class to level 5.

I’m really enjoying the playstyle of the WH, swinging away with rapier to blast away with a pistol. I’ve looked up on forums some type build to work towards and the majority of feedback is WH don’t get invited to groups etc. Van I get some feedback on why people don’t like this class?

It's the hat. Nobody likes hats these days. Also group utility and how well you play in organized. WH/WE usually don't offer much for other players, while Eng/Magus may offer some but are movement restricted, so in dynamic fights makes them less wanted. For WH/WE groups, 6man is where its at, or solo. You'll thrive there generally, so if you like that play style, you kind of have to accept the role your putting yourself in.

It can be a pain at higher levels since the WH is very situational, backstabby and squishy.

in RvR at least every warband needs at least 1 possibly 2 imo, for scouting enemy movements, siege equipment location direction etc. Information is key to suiccess.
