binkw32.dll is missing

Hi,

i try to install the game on a win 10 64bit laptop and when I launch war-64.exe to install the game, a pop-up comes up saying "cannot install the program beacuse binkw32.dll is missing. To solve the problem reinstall the program".

How can I solve the problem?

You don't run war-64, and you haven't installed DX9.

Hi,

I'm sorry but I do both the steps described in the guide, I install the
dll and i try to run both war-64.exe first and war.exe but with both i got the same error.

Than I search in internet, I find where to download the binkw32.dll then I launch again the game, and this time a second error comes up.

"Missing mss32.dll..." than I dowload this too and after copyng both the dll in windows/system32 and windows/sysWOW64 (just to be sure) I launch again the game but comes un another error:

"impossible to find input point _AIL_sample_occlusion@4 in the procedure of dynamic library" ...

someone can say to me the correct version of binkw32.dll and mss32.dll to download?

You didn't install the Direct X9 or you'd have the .dll's in your directory. Either that, or you're not setting your folder to not- 'Read-Only'.

Regardless, the guide doesn't tell you to launch war-64, or war.exe. Use the Launcher.

Re-read the guide and follow the steps.

have a big problem trying to resolve the error getting missing binkw32.dll file. how to solve this problem, reinstall the program once again or just download the file from the website and install it.
