Teather Problem

Hello,

i have the Problem that the Teather Ring is always on. If i am guarded or not.
It glowes like i am constantly in Grossguard.

Did anyone ever had the same Problem and now how to solve the Problem??

How is it possible to make the line a really slim version like RV MODE EVE targeting?

which version are you using? VinyUi, Idrinth's or Fixxer.

If it's the VinyUI or Idrinth's version, you can try this: viewtopic.php?p=402630#p402630

Viny uses old version that works only with GeS addon.
You can delete old teather, GeS and instead install guardpack from fixxer site. This is more or less best choice of action.

don't see any guardpack on fixxer's addon site?
If i install the teather, libguard and guardrange from fixxer's alladdoons folder i get the same problem that i have a constant glowing circle from teather.

It contained the addons: Teather, LibGuard, GuardRange

yep, see my edit , i tried to install the 3 addons from his alladdons pack but same problem, constant glowing circle.

I had the same problem with the addon. To fix it I went to User Settings -> Interface -> Layout Editor -> Start Editing and then selected "Teather Window" -> right click -> Set Opacity... and turned it completely to the left.

This fixed it for me. Addon still showing up when you guard someone or someone guards you but no more glowing.

I actually have the opposite problem with Teather where sometimes it doesnt show up when I apply guard (other times it does show up, and yet other times it doesn't go away). I have the latest version from Fixxer's site with LibGuard. I don't have VinyUI though.

Any fixes/suggestions? I don't think (or am not aware of) a teather config option from in-game...

Edit: I would also add for anyone casually browsing this thread -- Teather is a great add-on even if you're not a tank. It lets you know which tank is guarding you (e.g., two tanks of same class in your party) and where/how far they're located relative to you. Great for making sure you don't run out of range, etc.
