tweaking SC and open rvr gear sets

hi,

currently if you play only scenarios as a healer for example and farm conqueror's emblems you are only able to buy the dominator set which is for dps and you are forced to play open-rvr and farm conqueror's medaillon if you want to buy the healing set.

my suggestion is to offer both sets for both currencies so people can decide which content they want to play and farm to buy their gear. imo it is not healthy to play healer in a SC but not being able to upgrade your healing gear through it. i know on the official version of the game it wasnt like that but thats why we are here to tweak around and rebalance the game =)

You’d need to read entire sentence, he is saying it doesn’t make a lot of sense that you’re playing healer in sc but can only buy dps gear as a reward.
And I agree completely, I don’t even know why we need senate currencies for scenarios and rvr - just let people do what they like, give them same currency and let them choose the gear which supports their play style.
It true the other way around as well, if you would be rvr loving AM dps - you’re out of luck - need to grind scenarios to get gear.
I’d support the motion to let ppl choose gear regardless how they get their emblems.

For what it's worth, the new armour sets introduced with the relaunch of ranked scenarios have both a heal-set and a dps-set available to buy with the same tokens.

And even for sc you need chars who heal. You know, proper groups are made with healers. Weapons come from sc as well. When you are solo healer, playing sc gives faster xp/rp than joining some pug warband in rvr.

You wouldnt want to play ranked scenario to gear up after 40/40 would you ?

+1 from me just giving us the option to trade medallions for emblems of the same type would be great.

i saw the royal crest vendors for example also sell the healing and the dps set for healers using the same currency for both. why not do it for every set in the game if you implemented it for some sets already?
