The Sundering trilogy?

I like all the books. Ok, the Shadow King is kinda emo. Ok, it's completely emo. Ok, I dislike that emo punk. A PRINCESS practically wanted to give herself to him and he...ran away for 250km? Ok, I knida did the same thing, just without the princess part. Ok, whatever. I dislike myself?

I LOVED Caledor. Man, Prince Imrik is so awesome, yet so real. I could real feel his troubles especially because Gavin introduced the family element. And the duty element. A MASTER STROKE if any. Malekith was almost equally awesome, but lacked those elements. And ofc, Morathi. KILL THE BITCH! A question: Do you think she'd **** me royally(and Wildly!) if I found myself in such a position?

I tried reading "The Great Betrayal" after The Sundering and it was...depressing. Total letdown. It seems I love Gav's style(which I do). The fact that it paints the Asur in the light it does...does not help.

imo empire > high elf style. elfs are too fabulous for me. wh simply looks more badass in every aspect. plus you cannot properly play a wl without a pet, which i (petclasses generally) not like
