Authentifcation failed--application will now terminate

I downloaded this game couple weeks ago then got busy with work. Had free time and launched the game only for this error to happen.

Things i've done to maybe fix it.

-Ran as administrator
-Checked firewall settings for exceptions
-Downloaded with conventional method
-Downloaded via Torrent
-Followed text document directions to the T
-Reset my password

I am not sure what i am missing...... Really want to play... Please help =)

There seems to be no effective solution to this problem, I've tried every solution in the book recommended on here and by redditors. I've heard a VPN works great, but my VPN just blocks the connection to the game server. The only thing that works is relaunching the game over and over again until you get in. It's strange, because my two laptops have no issue getting in, but I have to relaunch on my desktop an average of 50-70 times before I'm able to get in. Doesn't seem like they are interesting in rolling out a fix for it either. Best of luck to you.
