completly new player need some info

Hello, i played warhammer back when it realesed and i love the game and i think im back <3
at this moment im downloading the game and have some questions.

-do i have to choose a realm? or there is only 1 ? if more then 1 which should i choose?

-how is the leveling? can people get instant lvl max char? is the exp gained from quests the same as original or faster?

-does this server have an healthy population to do as many group activities like i can? public quests, low level / high level dongeons/raids, world pvp, battlegrounds?

-can you recomend me a healing class, race and faction?

Only one server and you can play both sides with a lock out timer. I personally like to play the lower populated side so I went order, which imo has the stronger classes too.
Levelling is fast enough if you win SCs and locking zones. I don’t think it matters what time of day you play, you will always have other people to play with/fight. As far as I can tell you always have some one looking for someone else to farm PQs or a dungeon.
If you really like healers then zealot/runepriest are strong atm.

thanks, what do you mean by wining fast exp by locking a zone? i forgot alot of stuff about the game

Sometimes you can be on a winning streak in SCs and that’s a lot of exp/rr, but then you can also be on a losing streak that’ll do nothing but cost you time. You got to know when to quit and do some orvr for a while.
If you are lucky enough to be online for when the zones(as in the orvr lakes) resetting, then just join a warband, win or lose you can get a lot of exp/rr when zones are getting flipped/locked/taken. Especially as a healer, easiest class to level.

Play in the faction that you like most aesthetically, as with the class to choose. Exp X2 Event is running right now (been whole weekend), you can level pretty fast to be honest. I recommend you to learn warhammer online mechanics, plus Public Quests, tome of knowledge, etc.

The number of players has increased very wildly, you can make a group and find people without problems.

Order? Lower pop? Is a joke? Order dominates everything from t1 to t4. You don't have to make excuses for playing the OP FOTM faction bruh.

No matter how hard you try it's going to take weeks to get to the "max level" 40/80 in the game. Don't worry about pushing so much, the game has a function to boost lower rank players so that they can experience all aspects of the game (except for the ultra endgame). Enjoy the experience and use the time pre level 40 to LEARN.

Also the faction balance flows with the time of day. I'm not 100% because im nightshift so my hours are wonky already but it feels like the west (America/Canada) favors Destruction, while the east (France/EU/RU) favors Order.

Every class has the potential to feel OP in the hands of a pro player. Also nerf squig herder.
