Thanks Palindrom, that was the problem. Launcher in the installation is an old one.

Thanks, this worked. BUT I was only able to create my character and login before the game crashed out and I can't click connect anymore :/

Had an error message about the server coming down. But the website and launcher indicates that it is up

well I can assure you the server is still down.

the website says its down, I cant log in, and everybody else is saying they cant log in either so all evidence points to server being down.

Devs said the server was getting backed up with requests and had to take the server down before it crashed otherwise players would have lost their progress for the day.
