Can't login, grey connect button.

Title says it all, same issue as viewtopic.php?f=4&t=35029 , i downloaded client, run the launcher, it updated manifest and stuff but connect button never lights up. And launcher continues to check all stuff every time i start it too, takes a lot of time.
Read only - removed, 32-64 bit tried, etc. Help

I have the same issue. I was playing two nights ago without problems, then last night the web server button shows red -> searching on the forums solved nothing (i read the sticky's and tried the cmd stuff, two thirds didnt work)
Only solution that i know is a VPN, it works when i enable my VPN but the speed is terrible compared to my own ISP. Only option i havent 'tried' is server restart, i hope a restart does fix it but id love to know if i can fix this client side ?
