Thanks TenTonHammer and Hazmy at least you two seam to get what i want with lvl 9 gear vendors and i mean just the armor and weapons.

For jewels and Cloaks u would still have to farm. But new players wouldnt be so Outpowered as now in RvR and SC.

There would still be progress for those that want the BEST gear nothing would change.

Im not talkin about give new player free high dps gear....

im talking about giving them gear that they can TAKE some of the dammage from High gear player and not be One or Twohit by a Chopper/Slayer or Sorc/Bright Wizzard

This hoarding gear, gold dupes, etc...is most certainly not the way to be helping the game progress. People should be sharing things they have no use for so more people can get up to par in the grand scheme of things, but instead of thinking of the future of RoR, they seem to be all out for themselves. On the other side of the coin, there are plenty of people willing to help out...just have to look hard.
I posted this in another thread. I don't think that having the Dev team create new vendors is the answer. I think that things should be left as is. WE, as in us, the player base...here in Alpha, should take some responsibility here to lighten the load on the team. This isn't even in Beta...too many bugs need to be worked out, and we can do our part to see as many people geared up and on the field as possible. How many people are sitting on the sideline not in queue, or in Orvr because of this? I would assume quite a few. I am all for making things as challenging as possible when things get rolling and we are live. I am not taking the "you owe me something" attitude with this...all I am saying is this is Alpha, for Chris Cringle Sake...if you have something you're not using, why not allow someone who can use it, use it? Our AH situation is out of control...as in prices. It's up to us to fix this..not the Dev team.

Disclaimer - These are my own opinions, and no one else. I am not telling people what to do in any way. I am just suggesting a solution. If this were live, I would just say suck it up, find a guild, get your levels.

Well, to be fair people ARE helping each other, but you can't expect them to just give away items they got. Most probably because

1. It's pure luck to get those items.
2. It's a lot of time
3. Who knows when it will drop for you again

I agree that the community has to be friendly and helpful too, but well I am sure you see that if someone farms for an item for HOURS he is not doing it to gift it away.

Not as a gift but no item that is only green no matter what part should be sold for more then 5-10 Gold when quests are back

Yeah, balancing the currency is very important and even though I wouldn't want to stress the devs, cus they have enough problems, they will have to help with that. But probably the gold wipe will do it. My concerns is that the main way to get gold is farming items and selling them right? We should find multiple ways so it wouldn't get too grindy.

I agree with both of you Gent's. I am seeing more and more of the trading of items lately, which is good in my opinion. I am not advocating to give all your stuff away, I am saying lets have a little common sense with how we conduct ourselves and look at the bigger picture. I can only do so much, as I am new myself, but I am willing to work hard and do my part. My point is that we, as the community, have to take a little bit of responsibility if this project is going to work. I thank both of you for understanding my point. Salute.

Thats what i meant with my earlier post just put lvl 9 Gale ARmor and Weapons to a vendor and let people farm for Bloody gear Jewels cloaks BQ Lady Decayed.

Then new players could enjoy PvP and RvR without beeing onehit wonders and to get the best gear u still have to farm so the economy wont break down

Helm and shoulders make about 1/3 of your total armor so dont tell me you dont need them to compete.

The only other way i can think of to make sc fairer for new players is to make it gear bound so u wont go aginst full geared player withou having it yourself.

But that sounds a lot mor difficult to realise for me then a item reset on vendors

So what is the conclusion?

Getting a balance between lesser and overgeared people, with easily attainable items through a vendor maybe? or higher drops but I think on the long-run a vendor is less work.

But of course this is just a suggestion-thread and we are not ranting on the devs to do it asap ^^

Of course not they are doing an awesome job with what they do.

But they cant blame us if we try do get to a solution that would work :)

It just would take a lot of wind out of the sails of people that now store gale and bloody items for after the whipe just to get rich again as fast as possible.

even if they sell the items for about 5 gold in ah after wipe what with working quests is realy payable....

They would still get money faster then other players and the whole price spiral in ah would start again

So you see i thought it through ^^
