Help with Downloading and install please!

Hi guys,

I'm new here and was lucky to stumble upon this goldmine while googling if a future Warhammer online was ever going to be released. However I am having complications with downloading or mostly just my error in usage. Do I need to download all 10 links on the client download "Join us" page? Also the Mega torrents aren't working for me an illegal use operation error always pops up when I click on the Torrent link. I'm currently downloading all the clients at the moment but just wanted to clarify that I am required to download them all. Also if I have the original disc still can that be used instead? Sorry if these questions are pretty stupid but i'm lost at the moment and can't wait to play this game again. Also if I'm moving along correctly by downloading all 10 clients, can someone please be kind enough to give me a dumbed down run through of how to proceed correctly after all this is downloaded? This WinRaR application is more complicated then Winzip and i'm not trying to buy Winzip just to install the game. Thanks in advance!

You are correct, download all the 10 parts for the game. Then you extract them using Winzip or WinRar, it doesn't matter which you use, it should work fine. You don't have to pay for either to use them, they're just nagware

Once you've downloaded the 10 parts, and extracted them somewhere on your computer, you then need the Return of Reckoning launcher to access our server.

Download the launcher here.

Put the launcher in your game folder, then right click it, and run it as administrator. Put in your forum credentials and connect.

Done.

Having a new issue, I was able to get the 5 part downloads from the torrent. Created an unzipped file folder for all the downloads but when I click on the WAR or WARpatch it comes up with an error stating "the patch client was unable to retrueve the file .[patcher.prods.sig] from the patch server (0 total errors encountered). Please try the patch operation again in a short while".... I've been trying throughout the day and same error pops up everytime. Any solution or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You have to download a new Launcher

Hi all!..i just downloaded the game with the torrent link,then downloaded the launcher and moved it inside the game folder but when i try to start it by inserting my name and password a little window opens up saying " AN ERROR OCCURRED.."and then something like unauthorized acces...what should i do?..thanks for you help!!!

Is your launcher in the same folder like the WAR.exe and not in a special folder?

Run launcher as Administrator, make sure the FOLDER (not the launcher!!!) isn't set to "read only".

This can be done by right clicking the game folder > properties > uncheck "Read Only" > OK.
