PVE and us (or me)

Hello hello everyone, I couldn't find this info anywhere so I thought it would be ok to ask in the forums.

The thing is, I'm one of those weird fellows that actually enjoyed Warhammer Online's PvE, and I mean open world PvE and questing, I'm not into MMO dungeons. Traveling through all the different maps, exploring it's corners and learning about the Warhammer world was as much fun as the superb RvR experience for me. This game made me aware of Games Workshop and a fan ever since.

But, it seems like Public Quests and PvE in general is unfinished in Return of Reckoning. Bosses don't work or are just skipped, some enemies don't aggro or aggro only from very close range, npcs in general do not fight each other or do their theme park thingy as they should. Please don't get me wrong!, the simple fact that RoR exists is amazing, I can't put on words how happy I was to be able to log into this game again, to hear it's music, and to see it's sights. So my question is, are there plans to get the PvE side of the game completed? This is not a demand, I'm just curious. If there are plans for that, I know I can wait for it, if there are not, I'll just accept that fact and enjoy it for what it is.

Thanks a bunch.

Check the weekly patches.
Every week there are fixes on the PQs, quests and npcs. That should answer your question.

But the devs can only fix what players report.

Sounds like a deal, I'll be bug reporting.

On the contrary, PvE has received a lot of attention: Hargrim and Grunbag (and many others behind the scenes, I'm sure) have released a lot of the dungeons (most recently Bastion Stair), and they are in good working order, and Anaehl is regularly doing fixes for the PQ side of the game.

There probably is a lot left to fix, but I don't think anyone could doubt the work that the team have put into this area of the game (and I'm sure that an extra pair of eyes to help with the bug reporting wouldn't go amiss).

That's great to hear. I think I'll be doing a full run of each race's zones while reporting all the issues I find. It will take a while but I feel like this game deserves it.

Strange cause I NEVER encountered a PQ that did not work yet (I'm playing them on Order only thou). Dungeons/PVE are even way too much for my taste. I think a PVE player in RoR could have content for many many months, considering the enormus number of quests, PQs or simple explorations in all zone pairings and the ungodly amount of PVE dungeons, which you need to do to compete (unfortunately, I must add).

I was also primarily a PvE player, although I did RvR when the mood took me. It's good to see that both are being resurrected equally, as one without the other would not be the WAR I so fondly remember. So thank you RoR devs, much appreciated!
