Well if you want it as Twister like as possible then you want:
3 Auras of choice perma turned on and thats it :D . Afaik people dont change the Twister rotation while being in heavy fights, or do they?

Jokes aside and in Easy words: '3 Auras at once. Toggle one off, click another one and get 4.5 sec cd on ALL auras with that.' Thats how you plan it right?
How about instead of having to toggle off one of the Auras, just remove the _first_ one cast in the 'rotation' and replace it with the new one when you click on an Aura? Like i got Str(1)+Toug(2)+Resis(3), i press on Dmg reflec Aura, and then i have the new 3 ones Toug(1)+Resis(2)+Reflec(3), while getting my 5 sec CD on all other auras. I guess that would resemble current system the closest (allthough i find this one a lil tooooo easy going, the toggle on-off would be imo better)

So if someone intends to switch hes running 5 seconds with just 2 Auras. Maybe there also a Window to tweak the value/timespan or so. 3 Auras are op anyways :D
Nah, when you switch to a different aura, the previous one should be removed, and the new one activated. Then there is a global cooldown on all aura's of 5 seconds.

Once the 5 seconds cooldown has ended, the player can then cast a new aura. In which the aura is removed instantly, and the new one is activated ;)

Using a knock-off approach instead of a manual remove comes with the issue that you can always activate the aura of your choice instantly when you see a situation that requires it. With Twister you can't always do this because of constraints and the constant invocation of the aura GCD due to twisting (and as you've rightly pointed out, most people don't). As the mechanics differ in such a way that makes the Chosen/Knight slightly more powerful with new handling (as I've just mentioned), I think the toggle-cooldown is required to compensate for that.

@Elven: While I think the aura mechanic is indeed very powerful, my proposition is to replicate the original server's execution of the mechanic but in a way that represents Twister's existence, so it would be 3 auras :P

I'm against any change in auras meccanic that are made for the onyl purpose to nerf auras

Before any change keep in mind that

1) aura alredy got nerfed in past to be usable with twsiter as a 3 aura per character
-ALL auras where cut half their buff value to be unsable at 3!!! this legitimate the twsiter add on
2) if you want to prevent chosen/kobs to use 3 auras you should rebalance all auras
-ALL auras should be buffed x2/3 and this lead to WORST COS THAT WAY every party will play 2 chosen each with 1 auras so that's mean chosen will be x2 staple anyparty
3) auras are not broken and there is no problem switching 3 auras, problems are other on kobs/chosen
4) chosen/kobs cna only switch 3 auras exept manualy and they can swap 4 so actually you could watch to set max as 3.

I would like this "just toggle 3 auras" system very much. I enjoy playing tanks, all of them, but KotBS and Chosen are my least favorites because of their mechanic, which is stupid and clunky to use, be it manually, with twister or with twister+some clicking program.

Bu… bu.. but muh skill ceiling!
Jokes aside I am completely all for this, it would make things a lot more relaxed for chosen players and would help use just focus on combat and our groups

Generally i'd just say: Do like you see it fit Aza . In pretty much every post of yours regarding the topic of balancing/gameplay i find it that you see it in a way of improving Warhammer, which i totally support in every way. Simply because its RoR and not anything else. There is no reason to take *everything* like it was in the old times.
