Ppl just don't surf the sides to safety so it's free renown most of the time. I have to admit though it isn't black and white and lava is less obvious. In some weird way I still think you should be required to do a substantial % of the job in order to get rewarded. So hitting someone for 10 damage and let the environment do the kill in my opinion shouldn't reward you a kill.

Also add fall damage. Bads falling from GoE walls and surviving is meh...

Not possible as long as the problem with spawning and the Z-axis isnt fixed.

I'd also like to se self punts yield fall damage to user (count as a jump)

They did not in official and they should not heere as well. If that was implemented, then ALL punts should add falling damage and IB's BG's would be too OP.

Self punts nothing more stop inventing/dreaming up stuff and yes it is a suggestion and yes it wasn't done like that in AoR

Not only that. The IB's and BG's knock with 100Grudge/Hatred. Super punt. In RIFT I was killed by a lowbie that way :lol:

So you mean that players should be more careful where and when they self punt. I totally agree. 8-)

No offence...ok NM that.... with all due offence....

All those people crying about being punted and dying in lava or a target escaping because they self punted away down a cliff....

SUCK IT UP BUTTERBALLS, IT IS PART OF THE GAME YOU PANSY BOTTOMED FEMALE KITTENS!!!!!!!!!!

I can agree with the self crashing resulting in a 20 second continuation of the character being in game and taking damage. Fine, self crashing to stop a DB is a pansy move.

But now you want to re-write the game?
Tanks are supposed to be able to punt enemies away. If you are punted off a cliff you live. If you are punted into lava you die. BE MORE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS before you engage in combat. Stop trying to dumb down the game to your level of ineptness.

Same with Ranged and Stealth ability to punt themselves away out of danger. THAT WAS WRITTEN INTO THE GAME. Two very soft skinned classes with an ability to escape. IT IS PART OF THE GAME!!!!!!! Stop trying to get rid of it because you can not handle it.

LOTS of times on my WH, WE and SW I would gank groups of enemy on the large bridge in DW, kill one person and jump to safety. LOTS OF FUN FOR ME!!!!.... no fun for the enemy.

Learn to play!!!!!!!!!!! and stop trying to change the game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
