Need / Greed / Pass

Hello everyone,

I haven't played really any MMO that had this kind of a mechanic in it, and I would welcome some clarification on how it works?

I see a few people often spamming Greed in SCs and most other spam Need, I personally just put Need or Pass.

What are the benefits of each and what are the downsides of picking each? Does pass do anything for your future rolls? Cause if it doesen't I can see why I barely ever see people choose Pass.

You can't 'Need' on a class specific item that isn't for the class you're currently playing. Someone playing that class (who wanted the item) would always get that drop ahead of someone playing a different class and selecting 'greed'

Passing on something doesn't increase your chances of getting the next item you 'Need' on

all this needs and greed was good in past for royal crests and such.
now it's doesn't matter unless yo are in premade which is farming medals for someone.

your need roll automatically turn to greed roll on items that you can't use.
use auto roll system for green stuff. It reduces click time. blue purple are not frequent. check ask me to see stats b4 decide roll.
