Scenario Balance

I am playing a scenario and I could 22 destruction character and only 9 order characters on this map.

Could you balance that to maybe 8 vs 8?

There certainly seems to be something off about that. Likely the server is set up to have a certain bare minimum of players, but is not drawing equally from both sides. I'd be fine with lowering the minimum total if it made sure sides were equal in numbers if not in strength. I've also seen SCs with 2-1 odds, and no amount of skill or organization can overcome sheer zerg-rushing.

There even have been odds like 4:1. But the thing is that it euqals itself out according to the time of day.
Sure, there are times when any faction has the advantage for a given amount of time, but it keeps scaling back every now and again.
Of course I'd love a maximum of like 12vs12 as well, but if you're honest the current swing of "advantage destro-advantage order" is RATHER balanced, even though some people (including me) may not see it as such.

One reason is because some people leave the match if their team is losing, maybe if Battlegrounds had a deserter debuff.

Another reason, is because a Rank 1 is the same as a Rank 12. Instead of matching by numbers, it should total up Rank # and balance by that.

In the last days most of the SCs were balanced by numbers. Its mostly unbalanced when it comes to class distribution but thats caused by the players themselves

they whole system is borked by design.

instead of starting when it reaches a certain balance (6vs6, 12vs12) the scenario starts balanced or not and then tries to equal up during the sc. this is totally wrong by design.

it should be: a 12vs12 scenarion starts when it reaches 12vs12, then NOONE is matched anymore in this scenario despite there are disconnects/leavers and then its filled up again untill its 12vs12 and then locked again.

could be so simple and i just dont understand why mythic did such a complicated not functional ****.

on the current issue: Easiest workaround for now would be to limit the two sc at 12 players each.

at least it cant be 6vs48 anymore etc. ^^

We did seem to have a day or two a few weeks back of balanced SCs, not sure what happened since then though.

i play in US time as destro. all time in my team ppl level 4 or 5. barely level 12 me and some two or three more. i would put a block to tier scenarios like to join MINIMUM true level is 10. is worthless having pl level 4 in scenario they are just garbage.

Thats quite a bit harsh, but understandably. Problem is, that you cannot split the Queue into something like lvl1-6 and 7-12 atm, because the populiation simply does not support it.
