Fortress lock working as intended?

HI! today i was defending The Maw and i logged out before the lock expecting that on my next log in would have find my 4 invader medalion in the mail box, but this has not been. when i logged in there was nothing in my mail box. i just want to know if this is intended or is a bug that will be correct in next patch. if logging out prevent you from getting even only medalions will be really hard for some ppl to get the full set.

currently fortress only gives players who are there any rewards. This may change but not in the immediate future.

thank you for the quick answere. i understand that since it's supposed to have just a limited number of ppl in the fortress instance, to give reward at everyone who decide to take part of the attack/defense can be a problem. but many ppl cuold have not enough time to stay till the end of the fortress attack and they will have wasted their time. enyone who spend time in the fortress should receive at least some medalion, just to not think that they have wasted their time.

Understandable but also as opposed to a normal zone a fortress is always limited in time.
First stage 15 minutes.
Second stage max 30 minutes.
Third stage max 1 hour.

So "worst" case its 1h and 45mins

sure, but if you have 2 hours to play, how many are the probability that you log in exactly in the same moment in which start a fortress siege?
