Sorc Vanquisher

This is not meant to be taken as feedback, simply to inquire upon other players opinions on their sets & see if their displeasure is aligned with mine. This is meant for player & player discussion, not to offend anyone.

Vanquisher for Sorc has exact amount of crit as Conq, you lose initiative and 4% damage could be seen as worse than the 100 toughness steal, if you were a glass half emtpy. The AP buff on that gear is 100% useless, as i've never once seen myself on my sorc going "Boy i could really use some AP right now". You have an ability that almost fills up your entire AP bar, and directly after you cast impending doom which brings you back up to 100 DM. It takes 1 global, also AP pots are dirt cheap, people literally give them away.

Vanquisher is Conqueror, new look same great taste, if you don't like initiative that is. If I go hit you in my conq gear and my vanq gear, my vanq gear is hitting you for a VERY tiny amount more, but if you walk and hit ME, I have -100 toughness and - some init. You know what, I might as well sell my AP pots so I can have more inventory space, I got a new AP buff in my best in slot gear.

So every single classes Vanquisher like this, or did only Sorc get pooped on?

Sham/AM have useless 6pc bonus too. Just don't use full set, mix.

You know what makes me care less about feedback? When it's posted trashy and repeatedly.

There's not, and shouldn't be, a big difference between the sets, they're barely 5 levels apart. If you had a suggestion for a proc to replace it that wasn't an i-win button you might have started down the path of something constructive to say instead of taking a piss all over.

People wonder why we don't listen it's because of useless noise like this.

Maybe use the old Flashfire tactic proc: next spell with casttime will be instant.
Or use the old crown of fire tactic (I think it was this tactic on live) proc: on being hit x% chance to stun the attacker for 1sec.
There was a collection about possible procs on sets for different classes. maybe look there?

There's not, and shouldn't be, a big difference between the sets, they're barely 5 levels apart. If you had a suggestion for a proc to replace it that wasn't an i-win button you might have started down the path of something constructive to say instead of taking a piss all over.

I posted this on the other thread and it was not even spoken on, so I brought it here to a thread specifically addressing this hoping it would be commented on, and it worked. This thread is not even to you guys, this thread is to the players that is why there was a question there "Are any other classes Vanq like this". I was simply wondering if other players feel their Vanq was as useless as mine.

Nobody asked for a big difference, just SOME DIFFERENCE. Like I said, same exact crit is ridiculous for a step-up set. I said in comparison, you can say Vanq is worse than Conq, if you were a glass half empty. I didn't think anyone would have to suggest anything to know sorcs don't have AP problems, all you have to do is play one.

It took how long to come out with this new set? How long for players to farm it? You don't even get a +1% on crit, you lose 100 toughness, you lose initiative, and you don't even need AP it's useless. I feel like this set was put out to keep players feeling like they actually got something instead of Conq gear for 6 years straight.

I'm afraid sorc does not have the same tactics as BW.

Concerned with the games health, also not caring about feedback. Fine then, i'll just play something that a high ranking person plays since their feedback is probably being taken into consideration & I will never have to post on the forums about horrible changes.

Yeah go aoe path with flame turret and keg, gather mobs and farm, pretty easy to lvl up. Also for high-end gear you are better off with conq, cause vanq-set also lost 2% crit. Have fun!
